PPF preserves your car’s paint and finish. It stops minor wear and tear from showing, so your car looks glossy and fresh longer. Regular washes are easier too, since dirt and grime slide right off the smooth surface.

Self-Healing Technology

Small scratches and swirl marks are part of everyday driving. The self-healing film fixes them on its own with heat from the sun or your engine. Your car keeps looking incredible without extra effort or frequent touch-ups.

Adds Value to Your Vehicle

Keeping your paint in perfect condition helps your car hold its value. PPF is an investment that protects your finish for years. Whether you plan to sell or just enjoy your ride, it keeps your ride looking showroom ready.

How to Care for PPF After Installation

  • Wash Regularly

Keeping your car clean helps the film last longer. Use a gentle car soap and a soft microfiber mitt. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive brushes. Dirt and debris can scratch the film if left on too long, so regular washing is key.

  • Avoid High-Pressure Directly

High-pressure washers are fine, but don’t aim them too close to the edges of the film. Keep the nozzle at least a foot away. This prevents the film from lifting and keeps it sealed to your paint.

  • Be Careful With Wax or Sealants

Not all waxes or sealants are compatible with PPF. Stick to products recommended by your installer. Using the wrong products can reduce the self-healing effect or leave residue.

  • Watch Out for Scratches and Stains

PPF is self-healing, but bigger scratches may need professional attention. Bird droppings, tree sap, and road tar should be cleaned off as soon as possible. Letting them sit can damage the film over time.

  • Park Smart

Whenever possible, park in shaded or covered areas. UV rays don’t harm PPF as much as paint, but keeping your car out of direct sunlight helps maintain shine and prolongs the life of the film.

Learn More About PPF From our FAQs

  • 1. What is paint protection film and how does it work?

Paint protection film is a clear or colored layer that goes over your car’s paint. It acts as a shield against rocks, road debris, and minor scratches. It also has self-healing properties, so small scratches disappear on their own. It keeps your car looking sharp longer and makes cleaning easier.

  • 2. How long does PPF last?

Our PPF comes with a 12-year warranty, so it’s built to last. With proper care, it will protect your car’s paint for many years. Over time, it may need maintenance, but it holds up far better than paint alone.

  • 3. Can PPF handle extreme weather?

Yes. Our film stands up to sun, rain, snow, and cold Truckee winters. It won’t yellow or peel in harsh conditions. It keeps your car looking great no matter the season.

  • 4. Will PPF make my car easier to clean?

Absolutely. The smooth surface repels dirt and water, so grime, bugs, and mud don’t stick as easily. Washing your car takes less time, and it looks cleaner longer.

  • 5. Can I add a ceramic coating with PPF?

Yes. You can upgrade your PPF with a ceramic top coat. It adds extra shine and makes the surface even easier to maintain. It’s a great way to keep your car looking like new.
